Gilford, NH-----Mrs. Marguerite C. MacGillivary, 84, formerly of Gilford, died Friday, May 16, 2003 at the Wedgemere Convalescent Home in Taunton, MA. Mrs. MacGillivary was the widow of Hollis L. MacGillivary who died in 1982.
Mrs. MacGillivary was born October 25, 1918 in Milford, MA, the daughter of Raymond S. and Olive E. (Bishop) Clark.
Mrs. MacGillivary lived in Mattapan, MA for many years where she was active in church and community affairs. In 1976 she moved to Gilford, NH and then moved to Tauton, Mass in 1995. While living in Gilford, NH, she was a member of the Gilford Community Church and was employed at Wilcom Electronics for many years.
Survivors include a daughter, Ellen P. Carle, of Taunton, MA; two grandchildren, Jennifer Carle Freeman and Caryn Carle, both of Taunton, MA; two great grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.
There are no calling hours.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2003 at 1:00PM at the Gilford Community Church, 19 Potter Hill Road, Gilford, NH. Rev. Michael Graham, Pastor of the Church, will officiate. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Gilford, NH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Gilford Community Church, 19 Potter Hill Road, Gilford, NH 03249.
