Laconia-----Edward E. Andrews III, 57, of 114 Woodvale Drive died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Thursday, May 27, 2004.
Mr. Andrews was born August 27, 1946 in No. Attleboro, MA, the son of Ralph and Emily (Baron) Andrews. He volunteered for the draft and served in the U. S. Army in Germany during the Vietnam War.
In 1982, Mr. Andrews moved to Laconia from Green Lake, Maine where he owned and operated the Andrews’ General Store for eight years. He was project manager for a number of construction companies, traveling extensively throughout the United States. He enjoyed playing billiards and skiing and was a member of the ski patrol at Wildcat. He enjoyed cooking for his family, had a keen sense of humor and was able to make people laugh.
Survivors include his wife of thirty-one years, Margaret “Peggy” (Hayes ) Andrews of Laconia; two sons, Christian R. Andrews of Atkinson, and Edward “Ted” E. Andrews, IV of Laconia; a sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Stephen Schultz of Narragansett, RI and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents and a sister, Alice Spencer.
Calling Hours will be held on Sunday, May 30, 2004 from 5:00-8:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 31, 2004 at 10:00AM also at the Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the family lot in Bayside Cemetery, Laconia, NH
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bishop Brady High School, 25 Columbus Avenue, Concord, NH 03301 or to the American Heart Association, PO Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220-3049.
