M. Alice Kincade

Laconia------Mrs. M. Alice Kincade, 71, of 65 Gilford Avenue, died at the Mountain Ridge Center, Franklin on Thursday, May 6, 2004.

Mrs. Kincade was born July 8, 1932 in Gilford, NH, the daughter of Ralph and Margaret (Hilliard) Blackey.  She was a life time resident of Laconia and was employed at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia for thirty-five years. She enjoyed crocheting, especially slippers, as well as knitting.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Deane and Barbara Anderson, of Laconia; her companion of 40 years, Raymond Reed, of Laconia; a brother, Teddy Blackey, of Florida; a sister, Rose Mudget, of Laconia; a granddaughter, Paula Hilliard, of Laconia; several nephews and nieces, including Donna McMahan of Fla, and long time family friends, Dawn Fuller and Kelli Shepherd, both of Laconia.  She was predeceased by a brother, Steven Blackey and by two sisters Doris Paquin and Jane Romprey.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday May 11, 2004 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday May 12, 2004 at 1:00 PM also at the funeral Home.

Burial will follow in the family lot in Bayside Cemetery, Laconia.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Health & Hospice, Inc., 780 North Main Street, Laconia, NH 03246 or to Care & Comfort Nursing, 61 Beacon Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
