Priscilla T. Nadon

Laconia-----Mrs. Priscilla T. Nadon, 93, of Hayes Road, died at her home on Wednesday, May 12, 2004.  Mrs. Nadon was the widow of Commander William H. Nadon who died in 1984.

Mrs. Nadon was born December 16, 1910 in Lewiston, Maine, the daughter of the late Mose and Marie (Elie) Twombly.

After graduation from Laconia High School, she moved to Boston, Mass where she lived and worked for thirty years.  She worked for Harbridge House in Boston for twenty years. In her later years, she attended and graduated from Harvard University with a B.A. Degree.  She was a member of the Harvard Club of Boston and was a former member of Boston’s Business of Professional Women’s Club.  Upon retiring from Harbridge House, she returned to the Laconia area.

Survivors include a brother, Arthur Twombly, of Indian Orchard Park, Springfield, MA. and several nephews and nieces.  In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by 4 brothers and a sister.

A Funeral Service was held on Monday, May 17, 2004.

Burial will be on Wednesday, May 19, 2004 at 1:00PM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Community Health & Hospice, 780 North Main Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
