Belmont-----Mrs. Ruth H. Stanley, 76, of 156 Seavey Road, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia on Tuesday, May 4, 2004.
Mrs. Stanley was born March 31, 1928 in Laconia, NH, the daughter of Charles M. and Isabelle I. (Gallagher) Huntoon.
Mrs. Stanley was a lifelong resident of Belmont and was a nursing supervisor at the Lakes Region General Hospital for forty years, retiring in 1990.
Survivors include her husband, Cecil W. Stanley, of Belmont; a son, Norman G. Stanley of Roanoke,Virginia; two daughters, Nancy S. McCarty, of Belmont and Norma G. Stanley of Melbourne, Australia; five grandchildren; one sister, Melba Chase of Northfield and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a brother and a sister.
According to Mrs. Stanley’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral service.
