Belmont-----Henrietta A. Newton, 58, of 116 Dutile Road, died at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA on Monday, May 16, 2005.
Mrs. Newton was born August 5, 1946 in Lowell, MA, the daughter of Albert and Marion (Andersen) Libby. Mrs. Newton lived in Laconia for several years before moving to Belmont thirty-five years ago. She was employed at the Village Bank & Trust, Gilford, NH. She received her banking degree from the American Institute of Banking.
Mrs. Newton loved her grandchildren and spending time with her sisters at the ocean. She was an avid reader.
Survivors include her husband of forty-three years, Stanley M. Newton, of Belmont; her mother-in-law, Vivian Newton of Laconia; two sons, Stanley M. Newton, II and Jason Newton both of Belmont, NH; two daughters, Denise Caristi of Belmont and Sherry Newton of Laconia; five grandchildren, Matthew Blanchette, Katie Blanchette, Paul Caristi, Joshua Newton and Kristopher Newton all of Belmont, NH; a brother, Albert Libby, of Belmont; one sister, Martha Bell, of Tamworth; and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by two sisters, Janet Heath and Barbara Townsend.
Family and Friends may gather in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH on Saturday, May 21, 2005 at 12:30PM.
A Celebration of Her Life will follow at 1:00PM.
