Laconia---Graveside Service for Foster E. Varrell, Jr., 86, of Pine Street, who died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on April 12, 2007 will be held at the Union Cemetery, Saturday, May 12, 2007 at 1:00PM.

Mr. Varrell was the widower of Beverly R. Varrell who died March 31, 2003.

Mr. Varrell was born October 23, 1920 in Portsmouth, NH, the son of Lucy (Cole) and Foster E. Varrell, Sr.  He was adopted by his aunt and uncle, Margaret and G. Walter Varrell, Sr. He lived most of his life in Laconia.

Survivors include four daughters, Leda Hall of Bow, NH, Pamela Byram and Jeanne Fugate, both of Laconia, NH and Candi Legault of Dunbarton, NH; six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; a sister, Lillian Buffet, of Marshalltown, Iowa and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Gail Singer Memorial Building, 360 State Rte 101 Suite 501, Bedford, NH 03110-5032.
