Belmont----Anna R. Bedard, 86, of 32 Sleepy Hollow Lane, died at the Concord Hospice Home, Concord on Sunday, May 27, 2007. Mrs. Bedard was the widow of Frank W. Bedard who died in 2004.
Mrs. Bedard was born February 28, 1921 in Roslindale, Massachusetts., the daughter of Ernest and Mabel (Ranier) Schaaf.
Mrs. Bedard lived most of her life in the Lakes Region. She was employed at Scott & Williams for thirty-one years, retiring in 1983.
Mrs. Bedard was a member and Past President of the Laconia Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post #1670, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Iwo Jima Survivors Association of Connecticut, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and and a life member of the Franklin Veteran of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post #1698.
Survivors include a stepson, Brian Bedard, of Belmont, New Hampshire and two wonderful stepdaughters, Linda Bernard of Milan, New Hampshire and Donna Ouellette of Manchester, New Hampshire; one grandson; nine step grandchildren; one great granddaughter; five step great great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; a sister, Jane Johnson, of Albany, New Hampshire and seven nieces. In addition to her husband and her parents, Mrs. Bedard was predeceased by a son, Wayne Fenoff, in 2004, by a brother, Richard Schaaf, in 2005 and by a sister, Eileen Fenoff, in 1999.
There will be no calling hours.
A private graveside service will be held at the family lot in Union Cemetery, Laconia, NH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to one’s own favorite charity.
