Gilford-----Cynthia J. Dow, 49, of 12 Breton Road, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia on Monday, May 28, 2007.
Miss Dow was born January 17, 1958 in Laconia, NH, the daughter of Harry R and Marie E. (Carr) Dow. She was a lifelong resident of the Lakes Region and was employed at Cumberland Farms in Laconia.
Miss Dow was a Cub Scout leader. She enjoyed sewing Ragged Ann and Andy dolls and baby clothes and knitting Christmas stockings. In her childhood, she was a member of 4-H.
Survivors include a son, Justin Robert Dow of Franklin; a grandson, Mark A. Murphy, of Franklin; her father, Harry R. Dow, of Laconia; two brothers, Daniel R. Dow of Laconia and Thomas B. Dow of Gilford; two sisters, Janet M. Shuey, of Missouri and Linda J. LaBraney, of Center Harbor and many nephews, nieces, aunts and uncles.
The family extends their special thanks to the 4th Floor Nursing Staff, Hospice, and the respiratory team at Lakes Region General Hospital.
There will be no calling hours.
A memorial funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 24, 2007 at 1:00PM at her father’s home located at 3160 Parade Road, Laconia, New Hampshire. Rev. Robert Sallies of Meredith will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Gail Singer Memorial Building, 360 State Rte., Suite 101, Bedford, NH 03101.
