Meredith-----William “Bill” F. Manita, 55, died at his home on Friday, May 18, 2007.
Bill was born October 6, 1951 in Somerville, MA, the son of John S. and Alice (Union) Manita Jr.
Bill was an auto technician for Meredith Ford for 23 years. He was a hardworking family man who dedicated his life to his children. He was an avid fisherman and loved being outdoors, especially vacationing in Twin Mountain as well as Vero Beach, Fl.
Survivors include his son, David Manita, of Meredith; 3 daughters, Melissa Guidi of Laconia and Laura Manita and Jenna Manita both of Meredith; 2 grandsons, Ricky and Ryan Guidi, both of Laconia; his loving companion, Kathy Hill, of Meredith; his mother, Alice Graziano, of Vero Beach, FL; 2 brothers, Mike Manita of Meredith and Mark Manita of Moultoboro; 4 sisters, Cathy Manita of Campton, Debra Doten, Carol Murchie and Karen Graziano all of Meredith; 10 nephews and 5 nieces. He was predeceased by his father, John S. Manita Jr., and by his brother, John Manita, in 2005.
There will be no calling hours.
A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at the Meredith Community Center, 1 Circle Dr. (Rte 3) in Meredith on Saturday, May 26 from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm.
