Laconia--- Mrs. Stephanie (Banach) Wozniak, 94, of 9 Natures View Drive died Saturday, May 12, 2007 at the Lakes Region General Hospital. She was the widower of Stanley F. Wozniak who died in 1987.
Mrs. Wozniak was born December 29, 1912 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Frank and Mary (Majka) Banach.
Mrs. Wozniak had been a resident of Laconia for the past 23 years coming to Laconia to live with her daughter and son-in-law Janice and Philip Rowely. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church. She had lived in Chicago most of her life and owner and operated a clothing store for many years.
Survivors include two daughters, Janice Rowley and her husband, Philip, of Laconia and Lynnette Wozniak of Chicago, Illinois; three grandchildren, Kent P. Rowley and his wife Lisa of Topsham, Maine, Mary Brount and Michelle Goldstein and her husband Mark all of Chicago, Illinois; 2 grandchildren Blaine Brount and Stephanie Brount; several nephews and nieces.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, May 14, 2007 from 6-8 PM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH using the Carriage House entrance.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Church, 30 Church Street, Laconia.
Burial will be in St. Lambert Cemetery.
