Gilford, NH————Mrs. Mary A. Nevers, 71, of 59 Belknap Mt. Road, died at the Belknap County Nursing Home in Laconia, NH on Wednesday, March 13, 2002. Mrs. Nevers was the widow of James K. Nevers who died in 1993.
Mrs. Nevers was born December 22, 1930 in Portland, Maine, the daughter of Everett and Sarah (O’Donnell) White. She had been a resident of Gilford for the past 48 years coming from Portland, Maine.
Mrs. Nevers had worked for Kellerhaus for many years and also for Keller’s Catering.
Mrs. Nevers was a member of the Gilford Community Church and sang in the choir for many years.
Survivors include a son, Clinton J. Nevers of Hebron; two daughters, Bonnie Ness of Wilmot, NH and Kathryn A. Norris of Laconia; 4 grandchildren, Amy R. (Ness) Dugan of GraysLake, Ill, Christian J. Ness of Sunapee, NH, Ryan Pelchat and Ayden Nevers both of Laconia, NH: four sisters, Betty Young of Cape Elizabeth, Maine, Doris Mallory of Lake Wales, Florida, Eileen White of Scarborough, Maine, and Carolyn Spicer of Lake Wales, Florida; and many nephews and nieces.
There will be no calling hours.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, March 18, 2002 at 11:00AM at the Gilford Community Church, Potter Hill Road, Gilford, NH. Rev. Sara Allen will officiate.
Burial will be held at a later date in the family lot in Pine Grove Cemetery, Gilford, NH
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Health & Hospice, 780 North Main Street, Laconia, NH 03246 or to the charity of one’s choice.
