Northfield —Mrs. Dorothy M. Noelte, 91, formerly of Northfield Village Spring Apartments, died at the Merrimack County Nursing Home in Boscawen, on Wednesday, March 20, 2002. She was the widow of Earl Clifton Noelte who died in 1980.
Mrs. Noelte was born November 15, 1910 in Providence, Rhode Island, the daughter of Frank O. and Maria H. (Peterson) Anderson. She lived in Lochmere, NH for 22 years before moving to Northfield in 1979. She was a dietician and worked at the Belknap County Nursing Home and the Franklin Hospital for many years.
Mrs. Noelte was a member of the Laconia Emblem Club #80.
Survivors include three sons, Bruce E. Noelte, of North Scituate, Rhode Island; William E. Noelte of Concord, NH and Earl C. Noelte, Jr. of Geneva, Switzerland; a daughter, Jane Ann Shaw, of Hampton Falls, NH; 6 grandchildren; many nephews and a niece.
There will be no calling hours.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 22, 2002 at 2:00 PM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH. Rev. Ralph Maxwell, Pastor of the Lochmere Baptist Church, will officiate.
Spring burial will be in the family lot in Bayside Cemetery, Laconia.
