Laconia——-Donald “Whitey” C. Wright, 56, of 39 Dewey Street, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Saturday, March 23, 2002.
Mr. Wright was born August 7, 1945 in New London, NH, the son of Donald H. & Margaret Clara (Colby ) Wright. He lived in Laconia most of his life. He was a mason tender and worked for Laurent Gilbert of Belmont for several years and also worked for Mas-Con.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Shelly Wright of Laconia; a daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Anthony Antonis of Laconia; four grandchildren; Edward C. Walsh III, Joshua Ingram, Dakota James Wright and Cheyenne Hunter Wright all of Laconia; his mother, Margaret Dow of Sanbornton, NH; two brothers, George Dow and Brian Dow both of Laconia, NH; a sister, Lucy Joyce of Pittsburg, NH; several nephews and nieces; and his girlfriend, Gail MacKenna, of Laconia, NH
There are no calling hours.
A graveside service will be held at a later date in Union Cemetery.
