Laconia------Mrs. Pauline B.(Young) Godbout, 72, of 35 Harvard Street died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Tuesday morning, November 12, 2002.
Mrs. Godbout was born October 11, 1930 in Lyndonville, Vermont, the daughter of Walter and Mable (Bennett ) Young. She lived in Lancaster, NH before moving to Laconia 50 years ago.
Mrs. Godbout loved people and nature and was an amateur painter.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Gerard "Jerry" Godbout of Laconia; a son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Carole Godbout, of Laconia; two grandchildren, Nick Godbout and Liah Godbout both of Laconia; two brothers, Dale Young of Campton, NH and Maurice Young of East Haven, Vermont; four sisters, Pearl Malanson, of Lunenburg, Vermont, Phyllis Higgins of Laconia, NH, Stella Murrow of Littleton, NH and Vera Andrews of Moultonboro, NH; and many loved nephews, nieces and relatives.
There will be no calling hours.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 14, 2002 at 10:00AM at St. Joseph Church, 30 Church Street, Laconia, NH. Rev. Gary Kosmowski, Pastor of the Church, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the family lot in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Laconia, NH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lakes Region General Hospital, 80 Highland Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH is in charge of the arrangements.
