Laconia-----Mrs. Lillian B. Libby, 83, of Country Club Road, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Sunday, November 30, 2003. Mrs. Libby was the widow of Maynard Libby who died in 1991.
Mrs. Libby was born February 24, 1920 in Meredith, NH, the daughter of Bert and Anne (Lemire) Way. She was a strong-willed and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and great-great grandmother and was loved by all who knew her.
Survivors include a son, Maynard (Rick) Libby, Jr. of Belmont, NH; three daughters, Joyce B. Smith of Laconia, NH, Dianne Gray of Belmont, NH and Karen A. Watkins of Cottonwood, CA: 10 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and one sister, Mrs. Charles (Kay) Kayes of Bristol, CT. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by two sisters, Mary Morrison and Anna Mitchell; two brothers, Wilber Way and Walter Way.
There will be no calling hours.
The location and time of the Funeral Service scheduled for Mrs. Lillian B. Libby has been changed to the First Congregational Church of Meredith, 4 Highland Street, Meredith, NH at 1:30PM on Saturday, December 6, 2003.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Central New Hampshire Kidney Center, 87 Spring Street, Laconia, NH 03246
