Laconia-----Howard Robert DeHart, 60, of 256A So. Main Street, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Monday, November 24, 2003.
Mr. DeHart was born October 22, 1943 in Laconia, NH, the son of George L. and Mary Louise (Peavey) DeHart, Sr., and was a life time resident of Laconia. He attended school in Laconia and served in the U. S. Navy. He had been employed by Manter's, Irwin's, Vac-N- Sew, and the Belknap Mall.
Mr. DeHart is survived by four sons, Robert DeHart and Lonnie DeHart both of Laconia, NH; Glen Nile and his wife, Stacy, of Warren, Rhode Island and Steven Nile and his wife, Lisa, of Laconia, NH; six grandchildren, Ashley DeHart, Celina Nile, Timothy Nile, Matthew Nile, Garrett Nile and Connor Nile; three sisters, Lena Williams of Belmont, NH, Nancy Mooney of Belmont and Florence Turcotte of Laconia; his caregiver, Nancy Boudle of Laconia and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Mary L. Bresse, and a brother, George DeHart, Jr.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2003 from 5:00-7:00 PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.
There will be no funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association of New Hampshire, 9 Cedarwood Drive, Unit 12, Bedford, NH 03110.
