Belmont-------Evelyn N. Horan, 77, of 5 Farraville Road, Belmont, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia on Saturday, November 6, 2004.
Mrs. Horan was born May 2, 1927 in Gilmanton, NH the daughter of Earl and Nellie (Ellsworth) Clifford. She worked as an an attendant for the Laconia State School for over 20 years retiring in 1991. She loved the outdoors, her garden, the birds and especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years Arthur J. Horan; a son and daughter-in-law Edward J. and Kim M. Horan all of Belmont, NH; a daughter and son-in-law Carol and Mark Jesseman of Gilmanton, NH; a sister Melba Laroche of Gilmanton, NH; 4 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son Arthur Horan in 1994; a brother Evertt Clifford and 2 sisters Lois Mclarey and Ruth Stockwell.
There will be no calling hours.
A graveside service will be held in the family lot in the spring at the Smith Meeting House Cemetery in Gilmanton, NH
