Ruth Shirley Piquette

Belmont-----Ruth Shirley Piquette, 84, of 206 Shaker Road, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia on Monday, November 22, 2004. She was the widow of Clayton Arnold Piquette who died in 1989.

Mrs. Piquette was born March 17, 1920 in Methuen, MA, the daughter of Lawrence and Ruth (Huckmann) Holdsworth. Mrs. Piquette was self-employed as a dressmaker. She attended the Laconia Senior Center and enjoyed baking, cooking and knitting and was an honorary member of the Belmont Boogie Busters.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, A. Warren and Marilyn Piquette of Tilton, NH; a daughter and son-in-law, Carol Ann and Richard Bernard of
Andover, MA; five grandchildren, Darlene Moore of Lawrence, MA, Dale Bernard of Andover, MA, Lisa Mortell of Salem, NH, Joseph Piquette of Point Mugu, California Naval Air Base and Dawn Pooler of Buxton, Maine; seven great grandchildren; a brother, Lawrence Holdsworth II of Nashua, NH and one nephew and one niece.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 26, 2004 from 6:00-9:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.

A Funeral Service will be held also at the Funeral Home on Saturday, November 27, 2004 at 11:00AM.

Burial will follow in the family lot in South Road Cemetery, Belmont, NH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Easter Seals of New Hampshire, 555 Auburn Street, Manchester, NH 03103.
