Laconia-----Richard J. Crowley, 75, of Laconia, NH, died at his home on Sunday, November 28, 2004.

Mr. Crowley was born April 25, 1929 in Springfield, MA, the son of Dennis and Mary (Buckley) Crowley. Mr. Crowley graduated from Technical High School (Springfield, MA) in 1947 and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was employed by Dow Oil and the Springfield Gaslight Company.

Mr. Crowley was an active member of the Belknap County Sportsman's Club of Gilford and the John Boyle O'Reilly Club of Springfield. He was a communicant of Our Lady of the Lakes Church, Lakeport, NH.

Survivors include his wife of forty-four years, Phyllis B. (Arnold) Crowley of Laconia; three daughters, Melissa Clark of Hill, NH, Calma Crowley of Old Orchard Beach, Maine, and Denise Olivares of Nashua, NH; three granddaughters; two great grandchildren; a sister, Mary E. Lalonde of Springfield, MA; a first cousin, Mary T. Crowley, of Springfield, MA; several cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2004 from 5:00-8:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 3, 2004 at 11:00AM at Our Lady of the Lakes Church, 50 Washington Street, Lakeport, NH.

Burial will be at a later date at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society, PO Box 6123, Laconia, NH 03247.
