Scarborough, Maine----Anne P. Southworth, 77, of 14 East Grand Avenue, died at Pine Point Rehabilitation, Scarborough on Monday, November 29, 2004. Mrs. Southworth was the widow of William J. Southworth who died in 2001.

Mrs. Southworth was born April 28, 1927 in Center Harbor, NH, the daughter of Gerald and Avril (Hersey) Taylor and was a long time resident of Gilford, NH. She was a hairdresser for a number of years and then worked as a nurse?s aide at the Belknap County Nursing Home in Laconia, NH.

Survivors include two sons, Greg Southworth of Scarborough, Maine and Michael Southworth of Gilford, NH; a daughter, Brenda Jeanson of Newbury, NH; 10 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three brothers, Robert Taylor of Belmont, NH, Daniel Taylor of Plymouth, NH and David Taylor of Ashland, NH; five sisters, Elaine Morretto of Canterbury, NH, Evylan Dunleavy of Meredith, NH, Sandra Ross of Kentucky, Sylvia Cote of Marshfield, MA and Carolyn Pillsbury of Meredith, NH and several nephews and nieces. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son, William J. Southworth, in 1995, by a daughter, Janet Callaway, in 2004 and by two brothers, Gerald Taylor and Clarence Taylor.

Calling Hours will be held on Friday, December 3, 2004 from 5:00-6:45PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH. A Prayer Service will be held at 6:45PM following the calling hours also at the Funeral Home.
