Tilton-----Carol A. Montambeault, 66, 31 Deer Street, died at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, on Saturday, October 9, 2004.
Mrs. Montambeault was born July 19, 1938 in Boston, MA the daughter of Dorothy Bragg.. She lived in Tilton for 42 years coming from Lakeport. She spent her Winters in New Port Ritchey, FL. She was a telephone operator for New England Telephone Co. for 33 years, retiring in 1993.
Mrs. Montambeault was known for her love of animals. She enjoyed bingo, fairs and auctions. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and the Life Member Club.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Leo A. Montambeault, Sr; 3 sons, Larry A. Montambeault and Lloyd A. Montambeault both of Laconia and Leo A. Montambeault, Jr. and his wife Brenda of Meredith.
There are no calling hours.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 15, 2004 at 10:00 AM at Union Cemetery, Laconia, NH
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Fisherville Animal Hospital, Spay/Neuter Fund, C/O Mary Aranosian, 92 Manor Rd, Penacook, NH 03304.
