Bristol-----Melanie J. Moynihan, 51, of Bristol, died at the Concord Hospital, Concord, on Wednesday, October 13, 2004. Melanie was born March 7, 1953 in Laconia, NH, the daughter of Andrew J. and Elaine ( Grew) Moynihan. She graduated from Laconia High School in 1971 and attended the University of New Hampshire, Durham, NH.
Melanie had been a resident of Bristol for the past 20 years coming from Gilford. She was a former Special Education Aide for the Newfound School District. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church, Laconia, NH.
Survivors include her father, Andrew J. Moynihan, of Laconia; a sister, Lisa M. Hazeltine, of Gilford and a brother, John A. Moynihan, of Gilford, NH. She was predeceased by her mother, Elaine (Grew) Moynihan, in 1999.
There will be no calling hours.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 16, 2004 at 11:00AM at St. Joseph Church, 30 Church Street, Laconia, NH. Rev. Gary Kosmowski, Pastor of the Church, will be the celebrant.
Burial will follow in the family lot in Bayside Cemetery, Laconia, NH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Concord Hospital, Office of Philanthropy, 250 Pleasant Street, Concord, NH 03301.
