Gilford-----Reginald R. Groleau, Jr., 55, of 14 Heights Road died on Wednesday, October 11, 2006.
Mr. Groleau was born April 27, 1951 in Laconia, NH, the son of Beverly E. (Wheeler) and Reginald R. Groleau, Sr. Mr. Groleau was a lifelong resident of the Lakes Region. He was a 1969 graduate of Laconia High School and a graduate of the Claremont Vocational-Technical School.
Mr. Groleau had been employed at the Lakes Region General Hospital for twenty-nine years where he was a Health Unit Coordinator, a Certified Pharmacy Technician and a Certified Laboratory Technician. He was awarded the Employee of the Year Award in 2002. He enjoyed nature, hiking, gardening, art, traveling and reading.
Mr. Groleau was a communicant of St. Joseph Church
Survivors include his wife, Kathryn L. Groleau, a son, Noel Groleau, and a daughter and son-in-law, Michelle Walch and Joseph Walch, IV all of Gilford; five brothers, Thomas Groleau of Laconia, Greg Groleau of Scarborough, Maine, Timothy Groleau of Miami, Florida, Glen Groleau of Belmont and Scott Groleau of Laconia; a sister, Donna Jean Threlfall, of Belmont and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents.
There will be no calling hours.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Joseph Church with burial following at the family lot in Bayside Cemetery, Laconia, NH.
