Raymond L. DeLucca

Laconia-----Raymond L. DeLucca, 20, of 144 Washington Street, Lakeport, died at his home on Tuesday, October 23, 2007. 

Raymond was born September 25, 1987 in  Laconia, N. H., the son of Gail (Valley) and Edward C. DeLucca, Sr. of Laconia, N. H.  He was a lifetime resident of Laconia and was employed at Madeira, U.S.A. and Nadia’s Trattoria.

Raymond loved basketball, four wheeling, fishing. rap music, racing remote control cars and going to the family camp in Campton.  He was a friend to everyone and everyone who knew him loved him.  “Everyone loved Raymond.”  He was always willing to help out.  He worked on a family race car with his father and brothers.  He loved playing with his nephews.  Family was important to him and he loved family get togethers.

  Raymond liked his shoes to match his clothes.  He was quiet, kind, funny and loving.  He said little but what he did say meant something and came from the heart.  He was more insightful than anyone knew and was his mother’s “Ray” of sunshine.

In addition to his parents, Raymond is survived by four brothers, Mark Hancock of San Diego, California, Edward DeLucca, Jr. of Laconia, David DeLucca of Belmont and Adam DeLucca of Gilford; three sisters, Melissa Jones of Concord, Jeanne Hancock of Laconia, Erica DeLucca of Gilford; his paternal grandparents, Roland H. & Christine (Pearson) DeLucca, of Laconia and his maternal grandmother, Ruth Valley, of Laconia; two uncles, Ron DeLucca of Tennessee and Harold DeLucca of Laconia and five nephews, Alex DeLucca, Noah DeLucca, Austin Champagne,  Gavin Davis and Alex Kelly.  Raymond was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Raymond and Theresa Valley.

There will be no calling hours.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2007 at 10:00AM at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Garfield Street, Laconia, N. H.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Tri-County CAP Friendship House, PO Box 717, Bethlehem, N. H. 03574.
