Ellen (Anderson) Ellsworth

Gilford----Ellen (Anderson) Ellsworth, 66, of 303 Old Lakeshore Road, died at her home on Thursday, October 1, 2009.

Mrs. Ellsworth was born November 13, 1942 in Melrose, Massachusetts, the daughter of William A. and Ellen Louise (Shea) Anderson. She lived in Lynn, Mass. for several years before moving to Gilford twenty-six years ago. On June 5, 1998, at the age of 56, Mrs. Ellsworth earned her high school diploma. She was employed at the Laconia Savings Bank for the past twenty-three years.

Mrs. Ellsworth loved her cat and parrot and was an avid camper.

Survivors include her husband, Roger P. Ellsworth, of Gilford; two stepsons, Mike Ellsworth and Aaron Ellsworth, both of Laconia; a stepdaughter, Holly Ellsworth, of Meredith; three grandchildren, Dillon Ellsworth, Sam Ellsworth and Gracie Hoyt; two brothers and sisters-in-law, William and Angie Anderson of Citrus Heights, California and Bruce and Gail Anderson of Lynn, Massachusetts; a sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Paul Croteau, of Henderson, Nevada and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and by a sister, Carol Brunelle.

A calling hour will be held on Monday, October 5, 2009 from 6:00-7:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N. H.

A Memorial Service will follow the calling hour at 7:00PM also at the Funeral Home.

Burial will be in the family lot at Pine Grove Cemetery, Gilford, N.H. at a later date.
