Laconia-----Mrs. Nancy Graham Rich, 72, of 38 Old Prescott Hill Road, died at her home on Monday, September 23, 2002.
Mrs. Rich was born July 11, 1930 in Bristol, Virginia, the daughter of Clifford L. and Pearl I. (Elliott) Graham.
Mrs. Rich was a long time resident of Laconia. She graduated from Laconia High School in 1948 and later graduated from the University of New Hampshire where she was a member of Chi Omega Sorority. She worked for many years as a claims representative for Munsey & Brazil Insurance Agency.
Mrs. Rich was a member of the Laconia Congregational Church.
Survivors include her husband of over fifty years, Paul W. Rich, of Laconia, NH; three sons, Paul W. Rich, Jr. and his wife, Betty, of Manchester, Robert A. Rich and his wife, June, of Epsom; Thomas L. Rich of Laconia; one daughter, Susan Hildreth-Brown and her husband, Walter, of Gilford; four grandchildren, Paul W. Rich, III and Katherine Rich, both of Manchester, NH; Julia Hildreth and Jessica Hildreth, both of Gilford, NH; two step grandchildren, Christine Tripp and Kim Tripp, both of Concord, NH; one sister, Ann Hood and her husband, Richard, of Laconia; and several nieces and nephews. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She supported them and their many activities with her love and presence.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2002 from 6-8PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 27, 2002 at 10:00 AM at the Congregational Church of Laconia, Veterans Square. Rev. Carolyn H. Keilig, Interim Associate Pastor of the Church, will officiate.
Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Laconia, NH
