Concord-----Mrs. Georgeann H. Jones, 60, of 52 Chesley Street, Concord, NH and formerly of Hilliard Road and Hoyt Court in Laconia, NH, died at her home on Wednesday, September 3, 2003. She was the widow of Arthur G. Jones who died in 2001.
Mrs. Jones was born February 10, 1943 in Bridgeport, CT, the daughter of Cecil C. & Julia M. (Casey) Hunt and was raised in Bridgeport, CT. She later moved Laconia, NH and was employed at the K-Mart Department Store, Gilford, NH, retiring in 1989. After her retirement, she moved to Concord, NH
Mrs. Jones was a past member of the Laconia Indian Historical Association, Inc.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, James & Veronica Avery, a daughter, Jo-Ann Avery, and a grandson, James Avery and two step grandchildren, Felicia Chase & Shane Chase , all of Concord, NH
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her first husband, Frank Avery in 1977.
A Calling Hour will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2003 from 12:00 PM -1:00 PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH. A Funeral Service will follow the calling hour at 1:00PM also at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the family lot in Blair Cemetery, Campton, NH, on Monday, September 8, 2003 at 10:00 AM..
