Laconia-----Ruth G. Elliott, 81, a resident at the Belknap County Nursing Home and formerly of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Sunday, September 26, 2004.
Mrs. Elliott was born March 18, 1923 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, the daughter of James L. and Ruth G. (Rogers) Donnelly. She was a long time resident of Pawtucket, Rhode Island and was employed at the Adams Drug Company for many years. She was a former member of St. Leo the Great Church of Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
Survivors include a son, Joseph F. Elliott and daughter-in-law, Staci Rhine, both of Columbus, Ohio; two daughters, Judith A. (Hanley) Zwolinski and son-in-law, Richard Zwolinski, both of Leland, North Carolina and Janice R. Best and son-in-law, Barry C. Best, both of Gilmanton, NH; seven grandchildren, Colin R. Elliott and Ethan J. Elliott both of Columbus, Ohio; Christopher J. Best, Alyssa B. Best and Jessica R. Best all of Gilmanton, NH; Keri Hanley and Jay Hanley both of Fall River, MA; a sister, Barbara Rogers, of Pawtucket, Rhode Island; several nephews and nieces living in Rhode Island as well as a former son-in-law, Joseph C. Hanley, of Fall River, MA. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, William Donnelly, of Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
There will be no calling hours. A Private Memorial Service will be held at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Belknap County Nursing Home Activities Fund, 30 County Drive, Laconia, NH 03246.
