Laconia-----Philip E. Geary, 66, of 1 Winnisquam Avenue, died at his home on Sunday, September 5, 2004 after battling a long illness.
Mr. Geary was born September 29, 1937 in Wolfeboro, NH, the son of Anthony and Betsy (Emerson) Geary. He was raised in Wolfeboro and graduated from Kingswood Regional High School. He served in the U. S. Marines.
Mr. Geary was self-employed and retired four years ago. He had been a resident of Laconia for the last thirty-one years. Mr. Geary was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Joan (Little) Geary, of Laconia, NH; a son, Philip Geary of Farmington, NH; six daughters, Nicolette Geary Bond of Gilmanton, NH, Patricia Spooner of Belmont, NH, Susan Guay of Laconia, Bonnie Martin of Loudon, NH, Jane Pillsbury of Gilford, NH, Brenda Geary Washok of Farmington, NH; twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2004 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home using the Whipple Avenue entrance.
A Private Graveside Service will be held in the family lot in South Wolfeboro Cemetery, Wolfeboro, NH. Rev. David Travers, pastor of the Laconia Congregational Church will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Health & Hospice, Inc., 780 North Main Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
