North Andover, MA-----Alfred F. Znaidousky Zanes, 85, of 140 Prescott Street died at the Lawrence General Hospital, Lawrence, MA on Monday, September 6, 2004.
Mr. Zanes was born April 9, 1919 in Laconia, NH, the son of William and Annie (Zuluki) Znaidousky. He served in the U. S. Army during WWII. Mr. Zanes was a shipper for many years in Brighton, MA.
Mr. Zanes is survived by his sister, Frances O'Donnell, of Andover, MA; one nephew and three nieces. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Znaidousky, who died May 11, 2004 and by five sisters, Constantia "Kay" Znaidousky, Verna Bowen, Estelle Keefe, Mary Znaidousky and Antonia McDowell.
A calling hour will be held on Friday, September 10, 2004 from 10:30-11:30AM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home using the Whipple Avenue entrance. Following the calling hour, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church, 30 Church Street, Laconia, NH. at 11:30AM. Rev. Gary Kosmowski, Pastor of the church, will be the celebrant.
Burial will follow in the family lot at St. Lambert Cemetery, Laconia, NH.
