Reading, MA------Janice Cole, 88, of 75 Pearl Street, Reading died at the Bear Hill Nursing Center in Wakefield, MA on Saturday, September 2, 2006. Mrs. Cole was the widow of Roger E. Cole who died in 1999.
Mrs. Cole was born August 22, 1918 in Laconia, NH, the daughter of Victor and Helen (Carr) Muzzey.
Mrs. Cole had been a resident of Stoneham, MA for many years where she was office manager at the Stoneham Baptist Church. She also was the office manager at Industrial Printers in Wakefield, MA.
Survivors include a son, John Cole, of Florida; a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and David Roberts, of Stoneham, MA; seven grandchildren, Steve Roberts, Scott Roberts, Tim Roberts, Eric Roberts, Sean Roberts, Derrick Roberts and Ian Roberts; one great grandchild; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Mary Alice Muzzey, of Lakeport, NH; three nephews and two nieces.
There will be no calling hours.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2006 at 1:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH. Rev. Sharron Lamothe, Pastor of the United
Baptist Church of Lakeport, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the family lot at the Pleasant View Cemetery, W. Rumney, NH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the United Baptist Church of Lakeport, 23 Park Street, Lakeport, NH 03246.
Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH is in charge of the arrangements.
