Irene L. Moore

Gilmanton Iron Works-----Irene L. Moore, 97, of 12 Moore Road, died at the Genesis Eldercare Network – Laconia Center on Monday, September 17, 2007.

Mrs. Moore was born November 19, 1909 in Manchester, N. H., the daughter of Alexis and Jessie (Raymond) Martel.

Mrs. Moore lived in Londonderry for most of her life before moving to Gilmanton Iron Works seventeen years ago.  She was a registered nurse and was employed at Elliot Hospital and Hillsborough County Nursing Home, retiring in 1980.

Mrs. Moore was an avid bingo player.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Raymond and Cecile Moore, of Gilmanton Iron Works, N. H.; two grandchildren, Deborah Noyes of Northfield, N. H. and Kimberley Boutsianis of Gilmanton Iron Works, N. H.; four great grandchildren, Robert Moore, Robynn Moore, Aiyana Poulin and Dagan Poulin and one nephew and one niece. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Moore was predeceased by her husband, Hugh R. Moore, and by a brother, Leon Martel.

There will be no calling hours. 

Private Family Services will be held.
