Patricia A. Ruggles

Laconia-----Patricia A. Ruggles, 78, of 765 Union Avenue died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Monday, September 17, 2007.

Mrs. Ruggles was born July 9, 1929 in Laconia, N. H., the daughter of Hazel (Shiner) and Roland S. Kimball, Sr.  She was raised in Belmont and attended the local school.  Mrs. Ruggles was a lifelong resident of the Lakes Region.

Mrs. Ruggles was owner and operator of Pat’s Super Clean Coin Op Laundromat in Laconia for many years.  She was a strong community supporter and was a volunteer for the Community Services Council. She enjoyed gardening and crafts.

Mrs. Ruggles was a communicant of St. Joseph Parish in Belmont. 

Mrs. Ruggles is survived by a son, James R. Ruggles, and wife, Katherine, of Laconia, N. H.; a daughter, Donna Hinson, of Rock Hill, South Carolina; six grandchildren, Joshua Ruggles, Jacob Ruggles, Jessica Ruggles, Jason Leibewitz, Hector Abello and Monique Abello; many great grandchildren; a brother, Roland S. Kimball, and wife, Theresa, of Gilford, N. H. and one nephew, Phillip Huckins, of Sanbornton, N. H.  Mrs. Ruggles was predeceased by her husband, Roy S. Ruggles, Sr., in 1999 and by a sister, Phyllis Huckins.

There will be no calling hours.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2007 at 11:00AM at the family lot in South Road Cemetery, Belmont, NH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Health & Hospice, Inc., 780 North Main Street, Laconia, NH. 03246 or to Lakes Region General Hospital, Senior Psychiatric Services, 80 Highland Street, Laconia, N. H. 03246.
