Pauline L. LaMorge Laconia-----Pauline L. LaMorge, 85, of 21 Ledges Drive, Taylor Community, died at her home, on Friday, September 18, 2009. Mrs. LaMorge was the widow of Francis W. “Frank” LaMorge who died in 1998. Mrs. LaMorge was born August 22, 1924 in West Warwick, Rhode Island, the daughter of Albert and Valeda (Soucy) Vanasse. She lived in the Lakes Region for over 50 years coming from Rhode Island. Mrs. LaMorge worked as a supervisor for the New England Telephone Company for over 40 years, retiring in 1984. Mrs. LaMorge was a communicant of the Sacred Heart Church and also was a member of the Ladies of Sacred Heart. She was a volunteer for many years for LRGH. She enjoyed traveling. Her family was the most important part of her life. She was a long time member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. Mrs. LaMorge is survived by a son, Roland F. LaMorge and his wife, Jill, of Plano, TX; two grandchildren, Nicole and Christopher LaMorge; a brother, Raymond Vanasse of Richmond, RI, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her parents. Calling hours will be held from 2:00-4:00PM and 6:00-8:00PM on Monday, September 21, 2009 in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 11:00AM at Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Ave. Laconia, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the CHARGE Syndrome Foundation, 141 Middle Neck Road Sands Point, NY 11050.
