Laconia-----Joseph F. Quintal, 58, of 175 Blueberry Lane, died at Genesis ElderCare Network-Laconia Center on Tuesday, September 15, 2009.

Mr. Quintal was born November 12, 1950 in Lowell, Mass., the son of Joseph and Flora M. (Hancock) Quintal. He lived in Hillsboro for many years before moving to Manchester. In March, 2009 he moved to Laconia. He had been employed at Sylvania in Hillsboro.

Survivors include two sisters, Jean Munt of Londonderry and Helen Nelson of Port Charlotte, Florida; a nephew, Robert Nelson, and four nieces, Linda Nelson, Rhonda Kelley, Christine Hupps and Denise Adams. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Earnest Quintal, in 1999.

According to Mr. Quintal’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Health & Hospice, Inc., 780 North Main Street, Laconia, N.H. 03246.
